The College of Education Dean's Office oversees the four academic units and their programs; furthermore, it is responsible for the administrative support in the areas of assessment and evaluation. The Dean’s Office collaborates with the local business and the educational community for the purpose of enhancing partnerships and student placement opportunities. The College of Education is accredited by the National Council for the Accreditation of Teacher Education (NCATE), the Council for Accreditation of Counseling & Related Educational Programs (CACREP) and all its programs are approved by the Alabama Department of Education.

Advisory Board

The Dean’s Development Advisory Council is founded by the leaders in the College of Education at Auburn University Montgomery for assistance in development endeavors.  It is held that through sustained exchange of ideas with colleagues and stakeholders who comprise Council membership, development opportunities can be created to enhance endowments, scholarships, and funded research.


The College of Education partners with more than 150+ surrounding schools and organizations in the River Region and Southeast Alabama area.


The College of Education has a strong network of proud Warhawk Alumni. This active group provides key contacts both locally and nationally to help provide feedback on what employers are looking for in graduates, assist with job placement, and offer advice and support to our faculty, staff and students.

Academic Advising

The core mission of the College of Education advising office is to assist students from admission to graduation. Students have the opportunity to meet with advisors regularly to ask questions and seek guidance.
