Early Childhood, Elementary & Reading Education

Early Childhood Center

We strive to develop self-directed, self-disciplined, self-responsible children who have a passion for life and a concern for others.

AUM's Early Childhood Education Center is open to all children ages 3-5 who are toilet trained and is staffed by full-time employees and students working toward their degrees in Early Childhood Education as part of their internship hours.

Although the future is important, we do not believe children should spend their lives "getting ready" for next year. If children do not have time to be, they will not be free to become. Consequently, we believe that by virtue of having the richest, fullest, most satisfying year now, children will be ready for whatever comes "next year." The Early Childhood Center strives to provide experiences for the development of the whole child through "total involvement in a safe happy and stimulating environment."

Enrollment is limited to 35 children per session on a first-come, first-serve basis. There is a $50 non-refundable application fee. For your child to be considered for care in the Early Childhood Center you will need to provide:

    • Immunization forms
    • Health forms
    • Background forms
    • Emergency forms
    • DHR medical forms

All of these forms are due on or before your child's first day of school.
