The philosophy of the Early Learning Center is that a child is by nature a curious, active, self-centered social being who is a person of value and worth. We strive to provide a high quality, learning environment, which takes advantage of the natural development of the child, respects the child’s feelings, emotions, and uniqueness, and provides a multitude of concrete experiences that build on what the child already knows.

The AUM Early Learning Center is nationally accredited through the National Association of the Education of Young Children (NAEYC).  All staff members have been cleared by the Alabama Bureau of Investigation and Federal Bureau of Investigation and are trained in CPR and first aid.

Faculty and Staff

The faculty and staff of the Early Learning Center are dedicated to nurturing, supporting and encouraging students as they prepare to enter elementary school.
