Dean in the School of Education at Auburn Montgomery and instructs courses in Instructional Leadership, Educational Facilities, Leadership for Schools and the Instructional Leadership Internship/Residency. Dr. Austin has over 32 years of experience as a public school teacher and administrator, Austin has made numerous presentations on the topics of innovative leadership practices, parental involvement and addressing cultural diversity as a leader, more specifically addressing the need to engage in conversations dealing with race. Her interests include: Mentoring, Leadership Dynamics and Quality Staff Development.
